Ad Maiorem Dei Galoriam - For the Greater Glory of God

Founded by St. Ignatius of Loyala in 1540, the Society of Jeasus or Jesuits, were once called the 'schoolmasters of Europe'. In Mumbai city,St. Xavier's College and St. Xavier's High School, Fort, St. Xavier's Boy's Academy, Churchgate; St. Mary's High School (ICSE and SSC) Mazagaon St.Stanislaus High School, Bandra; Holy Family High School, Andheri, Campion School are all run by Jesuits.

Besides these, the following institute also reach out to the urban masses : Snehasadan - 16 homes for the homeless; Shilpalaya Technical school, St. Xavier's Technical and Engineering Institute, Mahim; Jivan Vikas Retreat Center, Bandra; St. John de Britto D.Ed & St. Xavier's Techincal Institute, Manickpur Pasayadan - a Spiritually Center, Vasai...
