The Eco-club was established in the academic year 2002-2003. The year began with a ‘Garbage Awareness Drive’ initiated to instill environmental protection. The club members visited Wilson College for an exhibition on ‘Water Conservation’ put up by the Nature Club.

From this academic year 2004-2005, the ‘Consumer Club’ has been merged with the ‘Eco Club’ to bring about awareness among the consumers in the market with regard to the quality of goods.

The members were enrolled for the membership of the magazine ‘Panda Care for Nature Bulletin.

The highly enthusiastic members have made the club more ‘lively’ and interactive.
