Akanksha
The Akanksha Foundation is a non-profit organization with the vision to one day equip all students with the education, skills and character they need to lead empowered lives. Akanksha works primarily in the field of education, addressing non formal education through the Akanksha centre and also formal education through the Akanksha Schools. St. Xavier's High Schools is one of the center for Akanksha.
Night School
Started
in 1948, St. Xavier’s Night High School had humble beginnings and
limited goals. The then Parish priest of St. Francis Xavier’s Church,
Dabul, noticed that there were a number of young men in the goan clubs
of the vicinity, who would well devote some of their evening hours to
learning English, which would also help their job prospects.....
Xavier's Institute of Leadership
The Xavier Institute of Leadership (XIL) was
started on July 1st, 1999, at St. Xavier’s High School to conduct
Leadership Seminars both in India and abroad for educators,
businessmen, professionals, pastors, lay leaders, religious superiors
and heads of organizations...
Xavier's Institute of Counseling Psychology
The
Xavier Institute of Counselling Psychology, a constituent member of
the Bombay St. Xavier’s Society’ is an autonomous post-graduate
training institution located on the campus of St. Xavier’s School,
289, L. T. Marg, Mumbai 400 001.
