Mumbai’s increasingly over-stressed population is vulnerable to
anxiety, depression and other stress related disorders like
hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, asthmatic attacks or even
nervous breakdowns. Families too are breaking up. Drug addicts and
aids cases are on the increase. |
Unfortunately, there is also a serious lack of well-trained counselors
to address this crisis. |
Those
who complete their post graduate studies in Psychology or Social Work
find themselves ill-equipped to handle clients in a professional
manner due to the theoretical bias of the training provided by our
Universities. |
Xavier Institute of Counselling Psychology (XICP) offers the
PG
DIPLOMA IN COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGY
to
remedy this deficiency |

context of individual, family, school and hospital in-patient
counselling |

the years, XICP has attracted psychology and social work postgraduates
